Effectively reduce recoil and muzzle rise with Ultradyne’s wide variety of muzzle brakes. Shoot like never before with the best possible.

A muzzle brake is a device attached to the end of a barrel that redirects propellant gases to counteract recoil and muzzle rise.
By venting gases sideways or rearward through ports or baffles, brakes decrease felt recoil and help the shooter recover faster for follow-up shots.
Ultradyne brakes are at the top of their class due to countless testing and optimization, delivering maximum recoil reduction.
Every design is validated through data acquisition and in-field trials to fine-tune gas routing and timing, ensuring unmatched control and faster follow-up shots under real-world conditions.
The amount of muzzle rise mitigation that a muzzle brake provides is reliant on the gas volume that is redirected. The more gas redirected upward, the more muzzle rise mitigation will be felt. However, most muzzle brakes on the market that have a muzzle rise compensation feature, redirect the gas straight upward through ports in the top of the brake. This redirection effects the shooters vision negatively.
Ultradyne created V-port technology, that redirects gas upward at a 45 degree angle on either side of the sight line. This angled propulsion mitigates muzzle rise effectively without influencing the shooters line of sight. V-ports can be found on almost all of Ultradyne’s muzzle brakes.
